My name is Richard McIntyre. I have been a semi-professional rhythm guitarist for years, and have formed, produced and directed gigging bands. During the process, I needed a way to introduce and quickly teach my band members new material. It had to be quick, accurate, easy to follow, and easy to handle.

After months of trying out printed sheet music, sheets commonly found on a number of sites on the web that were largely inaccurate, and other methods, I developed and tried out the format you will find here. The response was 100% favorable and enthusiastic among all of the musicians I asked to evaluate the sheets.

After some convincing from those musicians, I decided to present the sheets here FREE OF CHARGE. All I ask in return is that you make a TAX DEDUCTIBLE donation to The Childrens Music Foundation. TCMF provides FREE lessons AND guitars to children who could not otherwise afford them. Through an international group of volunteer instructors, children learn more than a love of music. At a young age, they also learn the mental dynamics of structure and flow that will aid them and help them excel in school in such subjects as math and science. Additionally, the children learn through TCMF's principle of "Play It Forward", sharing what they learn with other kids and occupying their time learning and playing music instead of time-wasting activities. The volunteers give freely of their time. But even with special pricing from suppliers, the guitars provided at no cost to underprivileged kids still cost money.
